Founder-sourced pipeline looks like traction right up until the founder's calendar, network, or energy runs out. The board sees it before you feel it.

Gravity isn't a character flaw, it's a balance-sheet item: the share of next quarter's pipeline that disappears if you step back. It deserves a dollar figure.

Fair questions

Isn't founder-led sales a good thing early on?

It's the right thing early. It becomes gravity when the company's growth plan assumes a machine, but the machine is still you. The score measures the gap between what the plan assumes and what the engine can do alone.

Where do the decay assumptions come from?

They're my rubric, stated on the result so you can argue with them: founder-sourced pipeline is assumed to decay hard within two quarters of stepping back, while team-sourced pipeline holds. If your referral network keeps producing without your involvement, score that share as team-sourced.

What do you do with my numbers?

Nothing. The math runs in your browser. Only your email leaves the page, and only if you ask for the written detachment plan.

What's in the detachment plan?
